Expanded Day-Use / Park Entrance / Customer Service Facility
Project Detail: The entrance to the park will be re-located near the Lakeview property and a
structure will be built to address customer service needs, with external access
restrooms.
The entrance facility will have a lobby, visitor contact station and services to
facilitate fee collection, reservations and campsite registrations. The site will offer
public parking for day-use visitors who wish to take advantage of new and expanded
waterfront access and picnic areas.
The new entrance will be architecturally conducive to the parks natural setting,
large enough to service two-lanes of traffic, with a bypass lane for season-pass
holders. Information and orientation mapping will be provided onsite where day-use
self-collection fee deposit station will be added.
Benefits of project: Expanded customer service, new reservation and registration check-in location, parking, paths and beach access with new restrooms for day-users.
