Project Detail:
Conversion of 34 acres of undeveloped timber area within the Lakeview property, east of the park entrance road into group campsites.
What will exist on-site? 65 group campsites, restroom facilities and shelter.
Benefits of the project: Demand for group facilities in the existing campground exceeds availability, and many groups are turned away. New group campsites provide needed opportunities for groups looking for a place to camp together and assists the agency with its goal of system diversification - more opportunities for Idahoans looking for ways to enjoy the outdoors.

$1,892,000 Recreation Vehicle Funds
$175,000 Park & Recreation Road Improvement-Gas Tax
$25,000 Park & Recreation Capital Improvement-Gas Tax
$160,000 Requested Land & Water Conservation Fund - Federal
The above-listed resources will also fund the park entrance re-design, expanded day-use and new visitor service facility.
